Welcome

The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, the Grand Opera House, Lawrence University, the American Players Theatre, the Fox Valley Symphony, the Fond du Lac Arts Council at Windhover Center for the Arts, and the Oneida Nation Arts Program welcome you to Shakespeare on the Fox.  The objective of Shakespeare on the Fox is to use the works of Shakespeare to bring the communities of the Fox River Valley in northeastern Wisconsin together through the enjoyment of aspects of Renaissance culture still relevant today. The plays selected for fall 2007 are The Tempest and The Merchant of Venice. Full texts and synopses of the plays are available through the education page on this site.
